OKay, maybe three.
First, way to go! Getting this organized and rolling is a good thing.
2nd; I noticed a post where certain gear is still being solicited, i.e. SET and high eff. speakers; you REALLYneed to lean on people to get that stuff there. You'll notice that while everyone wants to hear certain type rigs, most of the owners of such rigs don't really want to haul them out of the house. The commitment to do that is often lacking, so getting solid commitments for everything you want to see there is important. "Well, I HAVE a Screecher 3000 system but the thing is heavy and yadda yadda........"
Item three; the bleed-through between the rooms is VERY likely to be a problem. I'd feel pretty confident that we are talking drywall over metal studs, and not masonry walls separating the rooms. We all know how bass travels, and even midbass and lower mid will transfer through, esp. at the medium volumes that most of us like.
Solutions may include using wisdom about which types of rigs go in which rooms next to each other, and also you MAY try staggering the TIMES in which audio is ON in certain rooms. Example; rooms 1-3-5 play for one hour, on the even hours, etc. Sounds crazy, but it MIGHT be necessary. An early test of the rooms by the host in advance will forewarn of how bad or good it may be. Personally, if I am listening to a rig, even somewhat casually, I don't like to have to mentally filter out the audio information coming from another room.
I haven't read through most of the posts here so perhaps some of the has been addressed. Beyond that, 1/2 the attraction for most attendees is meeting and yakking with fellow audionuts.
