Have been trying to acquire some music I had years ago, that I so foolishly sold during moment of insanity. I check eBAy and Amazon for price references and was blown away by the sticker shock of a few of my favorite old groups. Ace "Five a Side" or "The Best of" goes for $40 to over $100 for the cd and vinyl! Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airman"s "Country Casanova" is virtually impossible to find on cd, and if you do is $120 +!! The same with "Cold Steel and Truckers Favorites". Just amazes me.

At least you know who you're looking for.
I'm trying to REMEMBER music from a mixed 8-track that my dad had when I was 6.:D
Don't feel bad, I've remembered more than a few.

I saw but did not pick up a bundle of Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airman a while ago. Seem to run into whole collections that are let go at once. No doubt that will happen to you sooner or later.

I think you're right & that you probably can. I have seen Ace albums,
including Five A Side, quite often when record hunting. See lot
of CC&HLPA LPs too, but not sure if the Country Casanova is one
of them.

Edwin,
I don't go out searching that often but when I do I find piles of really great stuff. A lot of times I just don't know what to do with them, so I end up passing on them. If there are rare hard to find stuff I'd be more than glad to pick them up for you guys.
Cheers

If you were ever a Screaming Blue Messiahs fan, be prepared for some serious sticker shock for their CDs, especially Gun Shy which can go for well over $100 and Bikini Red which is between $40 and $50. Some sellers are trying to get big bucks for the rather commonly availabe Totally Religious.
Other high-priced CDs are the late Jim Capaldi's Oh How We Danced and Heads, Hands, and Feet self-titled double album (two records, one CD).
