Are on tonight's menu. Very thick, very juicy charcoal grilled burgers, cheddar cheese, grilled onions, sliced tomato, served on an English Muffin. Beans and steak fries as sides. Ice cold Fosters.

Simple but oh so good.

The British have some odd ideas about food. Finding pork n' beans on all the hotel breakfast buffets left me shaking my head.

The English muffins just don't seem to work for me with burgers. But the rest of it....oh, yeah!!!!

And I once made the mistake of buying a burger at one of those little sidewalk wagons in London.

This near to dinner, I won't talk about my body's reaction. :sigh:

Ummm, O.K....what's wrong with pork n' beans as breakfast? Not that much different than cold pizza I'm thinking. There have been times when I awoke in the morning that just about anything would taste good. Of course that's after a bender:yes:

Okay, on a breakfast menu, maybe not........hope you got your toidy fixed.

I went to some fancy restaurant here last year, and for breakfast, home made potato chips on some kinda fancy omlet.. Now that wasn't what I ever had in mind for breakfast, and don't plan to do again..

And again I have to ask "Why not"?...That doesn't sound all that bad to me. Actually kinda good. How can one go wrong w/chips?

Like 'em with pizza, on peanut butter samiches, with salad, with chili, with about n'thing. Good with beer too!.............R1

P.S. I may have chips with scrambled eggs tonite. Ummmm....

The British have some odd ideas about food..

That's because they don't actually eat "food". It's something else entirely.

I found much of it to be quite good, actually. Pork n' beans for breakfast excluded, of course.

Jeff, the burgers sound delicious!

And let me also say I'll eat about anything if it's served with an Ice cold Fosters.
