This forum seems to be underutilized. Any one willing to share there comments?

I don't disagree with you. It was my idea to have it in the first place. I know lots of people have music lying around they'll never listen to, and thought people would take advantage of it to share some tunes, and cull out their collections.

But it is here for the members to use or not use. I can't make anyone use it.

I agree JD, It seems like as many of us that buy up collections, there would be the case of many doubles showing up. I have participated in a few exchanges of cds, but it seems things have dried up. Maybe I will post some and see if there is any response. Maybe it being fall now people will have the time to see what they may want to swap.

I have a habit of picking up popular lp's (even if it is not my type of music) if they are in very good to excellant condition and the price is right. Therefore, I have quite a collection. I usually like blues, memphis soul, motown and jazz. I had hope that this site would be great for swapping say classical, rock, and other rare stuff. I will keep checking but I imagine people are concern about fair trade value or horse trading!

So why don't you offer up some for trade? List what you have for trade, and what you are looking for? I checked back at all posts for the past year, and only saw one post for you offering classical records, and you immediately had a reply/PM. So the forum works when utilized. I know that from personal experience. I posted about looking for a particular Poco album. Various AKers ended up sending me several Poco albums I didn't own.

And I need to do more of the same. I have a lot of music that could use a good home. I'll see what I can post up.
