Can something like Miller actually suck any more than it does already? They'd have to really work at it, like adding salt and lime flavoring. Oh, wait....

Makes it easier on the delivery drivers... one keg, multiple lines.

I love the the High Life! Good Swill! I used to be a beer snob back in school...only drank Sammy Smith's, Young's, Thomas Hardy and the like. There's times, like when it's 95, when a 'High Life' tastes good...granted it better be ICE COLD or it'll taste like shit. I still am a Guiness Man at heart though.

It's been 14 years since I drank Miller Genuine Draft beer in the bottles. Man, I had a wicked hangover the following day.

Once in awhile for summer quaffing, I will pick up a 30 pack of Coors in the can when I go over to a friends' house or a family member's house to share. I'll toss the cans in a cooler filled with ice. Later, I'll laugh when I leave because they will have to recycle the cans. Heck yeah, they do the same to me.

Does anyone remember the Coors can back in the mid-70s when they had the main opener along with a smaller separate opener (about the size of a pencil eraser that had to be pushed) that allowed the beer to flow smoother? I always liked that concept.

In my younger days, I liked Miller in thoses 7oz (?) bottles because they would stay ice cold. We used to call them grenades.

Merge a bunch of labels and outsource production like most everything else these days maybe? At least that was my first thought the other week when I heard of the merger.

I still have one of those cans and it's never been opened.

I think it was the other way around though. You pushed the small button to break the seal and release pressure, then punched in the larger one so you could drink the beer.

The early push/pull-tabs tried to emulate two can-opener holes. It was a big breakthrough when they discovered the "key-hole" design pull-tab.

Great moments in American Brewing.

The Canadians keep the good beer to themselves and send us the crap.

They can keep their stuff.. I'd much rather have what the Belgians gladly send us :D

The argument by assertion and no less an assertion that YOUR taste is the only one worthy for all Mankind.

IMO beer is beer, one's about as good as another. But that's my opinion, not a fact applicable to all.
