I recently bought a lot of 6BQ5/EL84 tubes. Some of them no longer have any or very little lettering remaining. Attached are a couple of photos of the ones I need help to ID. The first photo shows both tubes made in Great Britain, could these be Mullards, or was their another manufacturer in GB making EL84s? The second photo shows tubes marked Silvertone, who made them? One of them has a code AAF 426 if that helps. I also got a pair of 1970s Realistic EL84s, made by Matsushita in Japan. Included in the lot is one each Dumont and WKR (made by Sylvania). They all tested good with plenty of life left. Thanks.

The first two are mullards, you can tell by the plate structure and cooling fins. The second two could be either GE's or sylvania's.

Thanks for IDing the mullards. The second are probably GEs as you suggested, since the WKR EL84 made by Sylvania that I have doesn't have any holes in the plates. Besides the Mullards, the Realistics made by Matsushita sound really good. All in all, a good deal considering what I paid for all of them.
