Sometimes it gets tiresome and I'm afraid it takes me away from just what this hobby is about....listening to and enjoying the music.

But to bare my soul I have to admit I'm always (well, close to daily) fiddling with my gear to find just the "right" sound.

How about you?

For me tweaking is all part of the hobby. Adding new components, changing placement, rebuilding gear it's all part of the fun.

Probably more than I should, Mostly with speaker placement these days. I put two small pieces of tape on my best spot and experiment from there.

well.. considering I have 4 actual volume knobs, a master slider, 6 line level knobs, 6 gain knobs, two gain sliders, and probably a few I'm forgetting about, then I would say I tweak every other song... so yep.. this poll needs some serious tweaking too :D

I'm behind anyone of my systems in any given room tweaking one thing or another. Sometimes i feel like i started something i should have left alone, only then to discover a better pairing or "relationship" from one amp to another receiver, or a certain set pair of speakers that sound better with this group of components etc etc. I most def. agree that its all a part of the hobby/addiction^_^. Its almost as enjoyable as playing with (@)(@)s. Pretty darn close i must say, pretty darn close.

It used to be weekly when I decided to go with separates, And constant tuning of these speakers with EQ. Then a new flat panel. Now everything is pretty much set.

I'm the sort to tweak constantly until something is just right, then leave it alone until I read something here on AK that might improve matters!
