It is the brightest it will be all year.

It was called the Harvest Moon because they used to say you could harvest at night it was so bright.

Last month's full moon was the Harvest moon, it is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox which is toward the end of September. This full moon is called the Hunter's Moon. It's a beautiful sight tonight regardless of the name. :yes::yes:

Very true, this is the largest full moon of the year, the moon is closest to Earth with this full moon than any other throughout the year.
