Here are some photos on rewiring an Empire 990 arm. I had trouble finding detailed info on doing it so I documented my experience for the benefit of all empire owners.

Also; I'll be ready to mount a new cart soon I think I have narroved down my choices to the Denon 103r or the Audio-Technica AT33PTG

I know the Denon is a nice match to the 990 arm has anyone experienced the AT33ptg?

Beautiful TT! I may be stating the obvious but the DL103R is a LOMC and you'll need a phono amp and/or step up that will accommodate it. The DL103R is a great audio bargain. I'll bet you'll be very pleased.

You should be real happy. We had one in the audio shop that emplyed me in the mid 70's. I could never walk by that Empire with out looking at it. It was beautiful, and yet I never bought it. That came back to haunt me.
