We have an oldies station out in the country not too far away from me that I can pick up at my new house and I occasionally listen to it when working around the house.
The other day they were playing "Raindrops" by Dee Clark. It brought back a memory of meeting Dee Clark at a record show in the late 80s. He was signing autographs but it was pretty obvious that his financial condition was not good.
It was very interesting to meet him after hearing his songs on the radio for all those years.
If you have it in your collection, take a few minutes to listen to "Raindrops". :music:
He died on December 7, 1990 at 52. :tears:
