Bought a big G last night. Never thought Id say Its sitting next to the Little 9090. Man this thing Is Giant. I have not had much time to give it a hard test drive. I will take some better pics later. I would of had more time but I was getting my 72 Olds cutlass ready for the shipping company. Later Rick:banana:

Holy cow. And I mean cow. I have a 9090db so it's kind of humbling how small that little box is next to the g-22000. I knew they were big but geez. Congrats. How does it sound compared to its little friend?

Congrats, these are a rare find and beastly! I owned one for awhile in marginal cosmetic shape, but it worked very well, I've never had a garage sale score like it since ($20!). I no longer own it as I swapped it across for Luxman separates that I found more to my liking, but won't ever forget that beast. I had a good bit of fun with it. :)

Yours looks really clean...the power amp section of mine was quite battleworn, the umbilical connector socket had at one point been ripped clean out tearing the chassis metal, and it dangled by its wires. It still worked flawlessly, though...what a brute!

What a beauty. Where on earth did you find it? I keep looking for one, but can't seem to find one. The two halves of a G-22000 were on fleabay a number of weeks ago. They were two separate auctions by two individuals. I wanted to bid, but just couldn't pony up the $$ because I've spent too much recently. I am still looking, though......

CD Fixer ran mine up to 275 before shutting it down. I saw a post from Echowars where he pushed one up around 290 or so before it clipped.

My sista lives out that way and I was about to use that as an excuse to grow the Sansui collection by one 22K, but I figured ; 1) I didn't need it (like that EVER matters?) 2) I would still need to move it 1100 miles west, and 3) I didn't need my audio addiction becoming the family gathering conversation for the next couple of years."..he paid HOW MUCH for an old stereo and stored it at your house for HOW many years?" If you got that for south of the asking price you did very well.
