This is the girl who played the oldest daughter on the defunct sit com "Still Standing".
On one episode she did a really nice version of "Summertime" , which prompted me to buy her album that she recorded at the ripe old age of 15, and was very pleasently surprised.
Some really nice cuts and great arrangements of old Jazz and pop standards. "Sentamental Journey", "Is he is or is he aint my baby", "Summertime", "Midnight at the Oasis", and others.
The album is simply called "Renee Olstead" was wondering in anyone else here, has listened to it.

Not that I can find, I did read she is doing some jazz clubs after her homework is done.

Apparently a second album is in the works, but no dates.

Her 2nd album finally came out in January (I think). I just ordered it and was wondering if anyone has "reviewed" it yet. Album is Skylark.

She is currently on "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" for those that don't know.

Like Michael Bublé, she's a David Foster protegé. I don't know if she fills 12,000 seat auditoriums like Bublé yet, but she has the Foster machine behind her, so expect her to do well. There's a big and growing audience for The Great American Songbook out there among aging boomers. There was a PBS special a month or two ago on Foster and his progeny.

I first saw her on that Chris Botti video. It is on one of those CD DVD combo disk. I rushed out and got the CD the next day. When the new CD came out I got that one too and there is one more single that is on Itunes and I also got that one. She is also on the The new Hit Man DVD of David foster. I Love her voice.

Just got the new cd, Skylark, I really liked most of the numbers on it. There are a couple that I could pass on but I'm pretty old school. In general I am quite happy with it.
