View Full Version : An Exciting Evening at Home LP - this guy is living the dream
SpeakerLabFan 11-16-2007, 10:21 PM I think I've seen this here before, maybe someone's avatar? -- I ran across this LP in the bins at the thrifts today. Cover and record are in very good shape. I don't care if the music blows, I might have to put this cover on the wall. Wow, nice hi-fi system, and a roomful of attractive and attentive women. I think this guy is living the dream....:banana:

ozmoid 11-17-2007, 12:32 AM The blonde leaning on the RTR will never do... :nono:
Mystic 11-17-2007, 12:54 AM Let's see, the gals are dressed for about 5 different occasions and for 3-4 different climates, and Blondes are in the minority. :scratch2: Love the picture.
SpeakerLabFan 11-17-2007, 01:17 AM ...because this music blows. I think he'll warm up these gals better with some Doors or Stones. :naughty:

I don't get it. Why not? Shes prettier than a lot of the others. Just fine by me.
I wonder just how exciting the evening would get playing this around some modern party girls wanting to hear hip-hop?:scratch2:

Oh, she'll do, and most likely after a few drinks she did.:D
vinyldavid 11-17-2007, 02:06 AM Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that cartridge an Ortofon SPU series?
meggy 11-17-2007, 06:31 AM Hey, that's the guy who placed that Craigs List ad a while back asking for a female companion to listen to tunes with!
fotno 11-17-2007, 06:46 AM My guess is the only things in that room that aren't wishful thinking are: A) Dude (who is in fact doing all the wishing), and B) the gear.
For the love of Mike, the man is listening to the "International Pop Orchestra" while wearing a cravat! That situation calls for Sinatra or Bennett. :D
jimfet 11-17-2007, 08:57 AM Hell yeah! Throw on the Sinatra or Bennett, He should have a reel full.Make sure everyone has a fresh drink. Then, Hey babes! How bout a game of strip poker. How could he loose. I bet he even has a stick of Mary jane hid in the room somewhere.
Mystic 11-17-2007, 11:09 AM I did not notice that late last night...he is wearing a cravat! Is that a flintlock or early percussion cap pistol hanging above the fireplace mantel?

DAmn that's how it works? :thmbsp:
edwinr 11-17-2007, 05:00 PM Great album cover. I've now been inspired to go through all my parents old records still in boxes in the garage... :scratch2:
