I was for maybe 5 minutes or so. :lmao:
'Kilimanjaro', 'World Shut Your Mouth'. A few others. I haven't listened in years, though.

Glad you know him at least. He's a terribly strange and brilliant guy. His last 6 releases have been done through his website.

Strange and brilliant are kinda understatements, when it comes to Cope. I know he has a devoted cult following, a few of my old friends are really into him. He is straight up frikkin WEIRD With a capital, Weird! :lmao:

Last time I saw a picture of him I think he was like 400lbs?? But I remember BITD when he weighed like 90lbs.

He's skinny now? I think I own all own all of his stuff. Not saying he'd be fun to hang out with. He's one of those that borders crazy/genius. He's probably both.

He took a break from recording and wrote a semi-scholarly study of the stone age monuments in the British Isles.

he has also written two books-- Krautrocksampler, and the just released Japrocksampler...he is brilliant and a scholar of the obscure and worthwhile in rock

I have always enjoyed his work from his band the Teardrop Explodes to his solo stuff.

I heard "World Shut Your Mouth" years ago on an obscure radio station and bought a comilation CD. I listen to it from time to time. Great stuff. He was brilliant.

I dig him. "Safe Surfer" is a great song.
