Here's a heads-up for any of you SE mich. AKers that might be interested in seeing the Cowboy Junkies at Ann Arbor's Ark. There's going to be 2 shows on the same day.The date is Friday March 21, 08.I picked up my tickets today & the reserved were already gone,so you would have to act pretty fast to get them.Ticketbastard is where you have to go.

That's one show I would love to see. Great group. Margo Timmins vocals would be worth the price of admission alone.

I'm just pissed I have to wait 'til March before this happens.

I can understand your frustration, but I checked the CJ Web site, and they are not coming anywhere close to the South on the next tour. This band is on my short list of acts I would really like to hear live. :cry:

Years ago I was lucky enough to see the Junkies
in Seattle for the "Trinity sessions" tour.
The stage was set up,like it was a Bedroom,4 poster
bed,drawers and a desk with mirror.
The scenery outside the windows of the room would
change with the seasons,Sunrise and moonset!
I could just drink Margo timmons voice,Great live.
A very romantic evening spent with a special friend~
