Does any co. out there make a DVD Recorder that also records CDs? I've never seen one myself.

The one in my computer does both.

Obviously, I meant stand alone. I want to free up some rack space if possible.

Do a search on the Stereophile website. They reviewed one about 3 years ago that got high marks. Yamaha makes one (or more) that is well regarded. Check their website. Also, check Yamaha on Audiogon. One pops up there from time-to-time.

This one does....and it records to hard drive and has some mastering software...but it is pricey.

It is a USB burner that does DVD and CD.

I think he wants a stand alone DVD recorder that also records CDs. It's odd that they aren't more common since most DVD recorders are based on an IDE DVD drive that can also record CDs.
