Nice! I plan to make my own turntable along similar lines when I get a chance as I really need to upgrade from what I have. One thing I am cognisant of though, for me at least is the need to have a perch that one can steady the right hand on whilst setting the stylus down onto the record. This turntable doesn't look friendly that way.

I'll bet that system sounded good. Nice monoblocks.

It has a cuing arm to make sure you set it down easy. The amps were killer and had a green magic eye tube as a power indicator in the front bezel.
