After collecting a few amps over the last 16 months, I decided to go with separates, Vice upgrading my AV receiver. After using a friends Outlaw 950 for a week, I decided it did'nt match well with my amps. The Sherbourne PT-7010A Processor was a good match, Easy set up, HMDI controller is sent separately and is a 2 in 1 out switcher. I use it for both HT and 5 ch stereo. Due to limited space my rig has to handle both. This piece was within my budget, And handles a heavy work load with ease. I've read Carver had a hand in it's design, And found out the Sunfire Pre-Pro has some similar features. If your switching to separates, And you have limited funds, It's worth a look.
