Wow, very, very clean and a great score for sure. Can't wait to hear your impressions of it. Which cart is on it?

Audio-Technica cartridge with a red stylus assembly. Not sure of the model ###.

I took it out of my cold trunk and put it together, she's "dry-spinning" on the kitchen table now. Hopefully I'll get a chance to hook her up tomorrow..

I did a search, Audio Technica AT70L cartridge...nothing special, but not bad.

Merry Christmas!

Great score, and you couldn't beat the price!

I was wondering which AKer beat me out. My brother (who lives local to the ad) made the mistake of sending me an e-mail asking if I was interested, and not also sending one to the seller claiming interest. He'll never make that mistake again!

From the description I half expected it to be nothing more than a parts backup for my PX-3. Guess I won't get a call back on that one.

Your posts regardiing maintenance were a big help. I opened her up, retensioned the belt and lubed her up! Thanks for the info! :D

I wasn't expecting much either. What a surprise. This table is a solid 9.5 on a scale of 10. A lucky day!

Best,

Congratulations Beemer. :thmbsp:

As merrylander said,a very nice turntable.

Please post your impressions of the sound quality, once you've had a chance to familairise your self with that aspect.
It sounds like you got it at a great price, and you had the huge advantage of being able to pick it up in person.Thereby avoiding the dreaded shipping damage which destroys so many turntables. :tears:
Enjoy it.
