Anyone remember that one? It was a minor hit, I don't know, I guess in the 90s. Heard it the other day in a coffee shop and thought I'd get it on iTunes. No luck, so I got the CD used on Amazon.

The band is called Mono. Nice addition to my small but growing "chill" collection. Can a 40 year old white guy have a "chill" collection?

Take care,

Ed

I'm quite familar with it.

Played it along with Air, Spiritualized, Hooverphonic, Morcheeba, and a few others.

EdI just listened to this a couple nights ago for the first time in over a year. Pretty good cd. I first heard Life In Mono when I saw the movie Great Expectations in the theater.

I really like Hooverphonic and Morcheeba. I first heard Hooverphonic back in 1997 on the small FM radio station of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. They were playing 2 Wicky and it caught my attention because of the Isaac Hayes sample. I went to Blockbuster music a couple days later to listen to the cd and I was hooked as soon as I heard the opening notes of Inhaler. 10 years later it's still one of my favorite electronica cd's.

I heard Morcheeba's Big Calm about a year later when I was on one of my many visits to Blockbuster Music and they were playing it over the store speakers.
