Getting albums this time of year was always very cool. For me I always enjoyed my Mother saying if I got the wrong group we can take it back....

I was so happy that was one of my best gifts being a major BCR fan!!! LOL SpeakerLabFan 12-26-2007, 01:50 AM I can remember getting several LPs from packages under the tree. Beatles - Rubber Soul, John Lennon - Imagine, Rolling Stones - Goats Head Soup. I bought DSOTM myself but it was around this time of year. I think I got Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here as an xmas gift one year, and I was totally blown away for several days after that. Same with Eagles - Desperado. I was pretty specific in my wish list so they weren't surprises but they were relatively new releases and new to me, so it was a treat. IXLR8 12-26-2007, 09:19 AM Most all the Beatles, Byrds snd Beach Boys I have are Christmas gifts. Sounds like we kind of got stuck on the B's. prisoners 12-26-2007, 11:23 AM I think it was '86 or '87 my mom gave me "Mob Rules" from Sabbath on cd. spok 12-26-2007, 11:30 AM i have a sad tale to tell music was never really a gift in my holiday history.....
