I dug out my copy of The Marshall Tucker Band's "Where We All Belong" tonight. Not only is it a fine sounding, well recorded LP with some excellent music on it, but I was at one of the shows the live cuts were taped at.

Anybody else ever go to a show and find out later tape was rolling and what you just saw wound up getting released? I MAY have also been at one of the WI Grateful Dead shows (Dane County Coliseum or Alpine Valley) released in the Dick's Picks series too, but hey, it's a Dead show so who can really say........:D

Yeah, Woodstock counts if you were there :thmbsp:

Hell Yeah!...I am watching Texas Jam '78 as I type. I was in the army,Ft. Head Texas. Aerosmith,Nugent,Van Halen.......
In '75 or '76 I was in the audience in Nashvilles Municipal Auditorium when Ted Nugent exclaimed he could smell that Nashville P***y,(Wang Dang Sweet Poontang) Great Gonzos?
And in 1976 I seen Skynyrd live at the Fox Theatre(one of 3 shows I think?) when Ronnie said "Play it purdy fer Atlanta"

I have a bootleg of Page & Plant (Video) i bought at a trade show, I was at that show. I also have a Metallica released bootleg that i was also at. As a matter of fact at one point in the show we were holding up a sign and Kirk Hammet points us out to crowd and says something like we know where the hardcore fuckers are in the house tonight. I also have the Van Halen Audio and Video from Toronto that i was at. Plus ive got a few vids from a buckcherry show i was at.

June 5th, 1983. Me too! Bono said the weather (cold and wet) reminded him of home. A nice touch was getting free tickets to the "make-up" concert. Everyone that stayed and "endured" the weather was witness to a piece of rock history... Got to love the Barry Fey (Denver concert promoter) era!

I was lucky enough to be at two shows that had some songs released on albums- Little Feat's "Waiting for Columbus" at the Warner Theater in DC and Jackson Browne's "Running On Empty" at Meriwether Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Lowell and the Tower of Power and Jackson on piano. Those were some great shows.

I'm somewhere in the crowd at Hill Audiorium in Ann Arbor when Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen recorded "Beat Me Daddy Eight to the Bar" on their debut album.
