Hit the thrifts today and found zip at the usual spots. Went to the ARC store that charges the most here for LP's (a buck) and rarely has even 1 or 2 good ones. Well, today was the motherlode, for them. I got the following:

I'm Everyone I've Ever Loved- Martin Mull
Cinco- El Chicano
The Best of Everything- El Chicano
El Chicano- El Chicano
Pyramid of Love and Friends- El Chicano
The worst of...- Jefferson Airplane
Four Corners- Yellowjackets
Revenge- The Eurythmics
Live- Head East (promo)
Dimensions- The Box Tops
Nick Lowe and his Cowboy Outfit- Nick Lowe
Seven- Bob Seger
River Deep, Mountain High- Ike and Tina Turner
L.A. Woman- The Doors
20 Granite Creek- Moby Grape (promo)
Long May You Run- The Stills-Young Band
The Best of and the Rest Of...- Be-Bop Deluxe
Second Album- Curved Air
Slade Smashes- Slade
Strange Man- Brian Johnson
His band and the Street Choir- Van Morrison
Machines- Lem
Together (As a Way of Life)- The Illusion
The Ventures- The Ventures (nice greatest hits package I'd never seen before)
Buffalo Springfield- Buffalo Springfield
The Magic Christian Original Soundtrack
Rockin' Chair- Gwen McCrae
Mel and Tim- Mel and Tim
Jennifer- Jennifer
Survival- Grand Funk
The Stompers- The Stompers
Second Helping- Lynyrd Skynyrd
1969- CCR (a reissue of Green River and Willy and the Poor Boys)

Although some of the covers are beat, most are in NM to VG+, and all of the records look unplayed. The couple I've played so far sound that way as well. What was even better is that the cashier decided she was tired of ringing up each LP after she hit 22, so even though I got over 30, she charged me for the 22.

Good job! The Gwen McCrae album is good early disco, give it a spin and let me know what you think! The Slade album sounds interesting, is it an import?

Yep, the Slade LP is an English import on Polydor from 1980. It's almost like those K-tel LP's where they cram as many songs on a side as they can. It's got 10 songs on each side.

Wow!....but then the sound quality suffers from it...oh still a good score, hard to find any good Slade albums around. Most I've seen are pretty trashed and beat up!! Yet for a buck? Why not!

If you're not familiar with Mull's recordings, you have a lot to enjoy when you sit down and really listen to this recording. Mull was a wiz as a satirist and writer; I wish he was still recording today. I have all of his albums and enjoy each and every one. Have a glass of wine and get ready for 45 minutes of joy!!

I love Martin Mull. This is one LP I didn't have. I'm still waiting for Fernwood 2-nite/America 2-nite to come out on DVD.
