The Giants - on Pablo - is simply superb...if you can find a copy on vinyl, it is a real treat...I have The Trio on CD...don't really like the mix...

Most of what you are going to find on the Pablo label is very good. There are a few exceptions but not many.

Anything Peterson/Pass on Pablo is no exception.

The Trio CD is also by Pablo...but I don't think that it is the best live recording...don't know if it is the recording itself, the mix or whatever...sometimes a given album can sound different based on source...all that I know is that my vinyl copy of The Giants is excellent (for me, one of my go-to reference discs), while the CD of The Trio rarely makes it to my rig these days...

I also have the vinyl of Pablo's Joe Pass - Live at Donte's, and that live album sounds great...
