A lot of great music has been put out that was recorded on New Year's Eve/New Year. A few come quickly to mind but I know their must be tons more.

Great sound on the DVD of this. Too bad the pic quality is so bad. (it was a PBS broadcast)

I've got a String Cheese soundboard from a New Years run in Chicago that sounds pretty good. So far that has been the only NY run show I've ever seen live.

I'd like to be out in Portland OR for the Railroad Earth NY run this year. My kids live out there, but the in-laws are there until NY day. So I will be stuck in the snow again this year.
