Well, a few folks suggested this site, and I thought I would say hello.
I've been dabling in electronics for a couple of decades now, and well what can I say... I have enjoyed every year of it. My system(s) are ever changing, but Im getting closer to the home stretch. I've owned dozens & dozens of speakers through my life, I've worked with and for hi-end audio shops here in Illinois.. Anymore I treat my love as just a hobby and not a career, but I seem to put equal time in both.

Im not brand specific. I enjoy my electroinics in their diversity... I've found over the years that all brands/modles have strengths and weaknesses.

Currently I enjoy a pair of old but very enjoyable Legacy 1's powered with a pair of b&k st202's and a Sunfire preamp.

Im going to start trimming down my collection, Ive got a basement full of speakers... (my basement is clean, dry and free of worries).

Anyway thought I would say hello.
Here is a pic of my L1's.

Hobbies: Anything that goes fast enough to get hurt on/in, while hurt and recovering, audio... I enjoy watching movies, but Stereo is where my heart is. Im also a novice photographer.

Hey spyonu2007!! Peoria's a nice town. If you'd like, get ahold of me when you're ready to start thinning out your speaker herd. I'm always looking to try new speakers and I've got an understanding lady that doesn't mind the back room with speakers stacked to the rafters...literally!!

Oh man, that brings back some memories.
I remember when they carried JBL, Harmon Kardon recievers & turntables... I still have an old Gerrard turntable from there.

Lets see in the Peoria Area, only EDI (electronics diversified ) Sound Of Peoria & Decware are still in business.

Pekin has'nt changed much. Pekin Gun is still busy as hell, street racers still race over across the bridge, and the town still has that smell from the corn processing factory. Thats a great move leaving Pekin for Florida, some day in a few years I plan to head that way myself.

Welcome from another Illinoisian!

I guess when you're ready to trim down the collection you could get a few AKers that are in driving distance to help you out. (Besides, my sister lives across the river near Germantown Hills and I owe her a visit.)
