I was fortunate to pick up a pair a Infinity Reference 2000.4's for $50 at SA a little over a month ago and I have to say after listening to them for a while now I am pretty impressed. I listen to mostly classical music on them and they capture the mids and highs very well. The deep ported design adds more bass than I expected from only a 6.5 inch woofer, not true floorstander type bass but certainly above your average bookshelf unit.
I know these are not top of the line but they work very well as the front pair in my bedroom set up and since they have a small footprint the WAF is high. I am considering expanding the HT that I have there to an all Infinity set-up. Any suggestions what would go well with the ones I have?
