I have a favor to ask of our members.

There is a member who was very generous and Donated some pieces of Equipment to AK. These pieces will be auctioned of with the proceeds to benefit AK.

Problem is he is in the Pittsburgh area and we need these transported to Detroit.

If anyone in the Ohio or Pen state area are near Pittsburgh and would be willing to pick up some gear that would be great.

I am trying to see if we can Pony express these pieces up to me in the Detroit, Columbus or Toledo area.

Think we can pull this off ?

I can certainly be counted on to get them from Toledo to Detroit. Depending on time frame, I may even be up to handling the Cleveland to Toledo trip as well.

Hope this helps,

And DingusBoy knows where I live, so maybe that could work. Besides Brad, you need to visit and hear my speakers since I worked out some bugs and have all the stock ASl tubes replaced with good vintage!!!

The items wil include one kind of large floor speaker boxed and a couple of individual pieces of gear.

If this member can get the items to you in Columbus do you think they could stay there for a week or so till I could get down there ?
Thanks.

KC

I had to pull out the trusty map to see where Dayton is. Looks like you a fair bit west of columbus and this member is willing to go only as far as columbus. Thanks for the offer though.

I could meet him in Erie, if he can come that far. Only thing is that we'd have to pour on the hustle to be able to connect before AK Fest.

Grumpy,
Can the large boxed speaker stay in the garage(no moisture, just cold)??? Other than that, should be no problem.

If necessary, could keep in the livingroom for the week if it needs that type of care. I will be out for awhile today, Bill E. is coming down for a visit, I will check back with the forum later today.

Just let me know whats happening here. I will do what I can!
