No.. not a decanter. It was a plastic statue. I wished I still had it. I think onne of my brothers has it now. Last I remember seeing it it was kinda a little worse for wear after 4 boys... I'm thinking that picture is probably from around 67 or 68..
Yeah.. I was cute.. what the hell happened?!?!?

James has replaced "nipper" with "Nips"!!!:drunk:
Sorry, pal, couldn't resist. :D
There's a big market up here in the spring and summer- they sell both repros and vintage of these. If you want, I'll pick one up for you. But they are also available on the web- eBay often has 'em.
I've seen 'em in many different sizes, so watch which one you buy- from 3" to a few feet tall.
Also have seen 'em in plaster, plastic, and cast metal, and some as banks instead of statues.

The original 3D sign of "His Masters Voice" from Baltimore used to be up the street from where I work in a collectors yard. It was a sight to see The thing was probably 30 feet tall.

Long before our time. It was probably from the 30's or 40's.
This fellow near my work bought it in the 60's when the building was being torn down. He also owned a vintage steam carousel, coin ops, barns full of cars you name it. He had his own museum. He sold it all and now his land is covered with a sea of townhouses. :tears:

strangely enough, I didn't see the dog at first, and to me it looked like you where holding a cigarette in your hand...then I realized what I was looking at....don't mind me :)

I'm watching a large plastic one on e-bay... Would be cool to get, but it has a reserve, and no telling..
