Hey all,

My father-in-law recently dragged out his trusty old Grundig TK-17 out of the attic. He has some invaluable reels from his time in the service, with interviews with other soldiers and such.

He found that the unit has a broken belt. From what little research I've found thus far, this unit was made in the early 60's and should have a tube preamp. (I haven't actually seen it yet).

Does anyone know of a source for belts and parts for Grundigs of this vintage?

Thanks!

This should help you. You might have to measure old belt and match the measurements up closely with another belt. If you don't have the belt, use a piece of string to make a template of the belt and then measure string.
