Looks like it's upside-down!
Setchell-Carlson? I know they had some sets with the controls on the top like that.

looks like somebody put the legs on the top of the set and then turned the whole thing up side down. Some companies would do anything to differentiate themselves from the crowd.

It's a 1955 General Electric model 21C152.

Thanks, Steve. I wouldn't have guessed GE produced such an unusual looking tv.

I once had a Sentinel nearly identical to that set... Slightly different knob lineup, if I recall though.
I have the feeling that one reason we see very few upside-down chassis TVs is that they were prone to problems from the heat penetrating the underside of the chassis from the tubes.
