Can someone explain to me in detail how to post pictures here? I went into the "manage attachements", tried twice but went nowhere. I must be doing something wrong but cannot figure out what. I have a few cool shots to share. Thanks.

Same as before. I hit upload and I get a white screen. I waited 10 minutes, nothing. Could this be a wonderful Vista/Norton 360 issue?

In the Manage Attachments window, below the upload area there is a list of file formats and maximum file sizes. It is likely your files exceed the largest allowable sizes for upload.

You can also use an outside hosting service (free, like Photobucket or Flickr) and just link your images to your AK post.

Photobucket always has worked for me. Just hop into their link and follow cookbook directions for the DIY-er in this....Worked for me....

I'm by no means the sharpest tool in the shed. Thus said: If it works for me it shall work for you.

'Nuff said.

Edit: Once you see the desired pic you want to post in a forum you "ctrl-C" followed by "ctrl-V" the exression associated underneath your desired postable pic the phrase that is formatted XXXXX to copy said into your posted text. Such expression should show up as a pic once you post your posting! And that should do your rock-n-roll. Good luck!

I had repeatedly checked the TOTAL size allowed and the size of my files. The problem, and thanks for sending me back yet again, was one dimension was 960 and the max is 900. I downsized them again. They were not greta pictures to start and I wonder how useful they will end up. If I can ask a few people to have a look at my STR-V5/Kef post and let me know how they show up on your monitor I would appreciate it.

Now I can get down to sharing some fun stuff...

Thanks all.
