I am trading a coworker a bottle of scotch and a Bill Frisell CD for a Dual 1219 to replace my BPC Gemini. I have only seen the Dual in pictures and it looks pretty big. The problem is that it needs to fit into the top of a converted Victrola cabinet. I have exactly 18 inches to work with.
Will it fit?

Thanks in advance for your help!

This site has everything you need!!!

Great turntable, and one of Dual's most popular. Take the time to do some research on how to service them, or take it to a proffessional as after 30+ years, it will need a clean, lube and adjust...and it's worth it on these early Dual decks.

Thanks!
It looks like I might be out of luck though. I think the table is 18 1/2 " wide.:

The table itself (without the base) is 14 3/4 wide by 12 deep. The tonearm counterweight ovewrghangs the rear of the table by about an inch. (actual measurements from my table)

OK, thanks. How wide is the base, if you don't mind me asking? The overhang shouldn't be a problem...

Base is 16 1/2 by 14 1/4
