Preferably online. Electronix is out of stock.

I'm looking at the stk0049 and it seems to be compatible.....

Any suggestions?

Many times the next higher number replaced the STK you want, and is a higher voltage, higher power version.

For example, STK086 replaced 084, which replaced 083, which replaced 082, well, you get my drift. Each was rated at a higher voltage and more power.

STK0040 can be substituted, as well as STK0049 and STK0059. These are rated a few volts higher, a little more watt output, and 7 amp (vs 5 A for 0039) collector current. Package is same size, same lead spacing, hole spacing.
