Hi Folks, I'm just starting down the tuner road and have a couple questions. I live down in a hole by a lake, and my tuner is in my basement, so reception from a dipole is not very good.:thumbsdn: I'm fairly close to the city though (25miles), so what would you guys recommend? It's an old tube tuner that I have freshened up and of course it only has 300ohm antenna leads. I guess i could run coax and use a 75 to 300 adapter? I'm really clueless I guess, so I would really appreciate any help you all could lend. Thanks a heap in advance, Jay

Use a small boom antenna, or if you can fine a 2 element FM only antenna use it. Good 300 ohm cable will work fine for runs up to 300 ft. Mount it in your attic, it will last forever that way. Radioshack use to make a 2 element FM antenna, I have one it works great. Get a fish tape and run the cable down the wall to the basement. Hope this helps

This antenna is the same as the Antennacraft FM-6.
