I have the Symphony set of Beethoven's Bicentennial. Been looking for the others since I found there were other sets. Great records. Also have the Toscanini/Horowitz record; wonder how many 78's that originally took!
Is the Rameau harpsichord stuff on Nonesuch Records?
Ferrier is supposed to be big on Elgar's stuff, as well as Brahms and Mahler.
Not exactly an opera singer, she was more inclined to composers' vocal works and died in her early 40's of cancer in 1953. Look for her version of Mahler's Das Lied Von Der Erde.
