...sounds a lot like old Traffic (Jim Capaldi, Steve Winwood, et.al.) But, I have a pretty fair Traffic collection and that tune isn't on any of them, I can say that I know the song, which I realize isn't too helpful unless I can ID it with a bit more precision.

For some strange reason. I am thinking the "peace of mind" song is done by an old somewhat obsucre band called The Detours" which was made up of most the members of The Who.. BUT.. seems like that was too early for them.. which meant this song would have been around 63 or so...

I think I have it, but can't find a smaple. The rest of their music and sound fits.. Rare Bird.. and my wife kept saying the byrds (which I knew it wasn't) earlier when we were trying to figure it out..

I found one VERY small clip of the first couple notes... and then lost the link.. but it did confirm,, it is Rare Bird - Peace of Mind...

I also found this on Amazon as a review for the CD.. Interesting.. This is also why I had spent so much time looking for the name of it... because I knew the song well from KSHE... It was one of their staples..
