One comment I read: The only things missing are a Stonehenge monument and a dwarf.

Always enjoyed this one. :smoke::music:

I have an original import of that album I received as a present from a co-worker. I probably haven't listened to it since . . . well, since it was released. Interesting sound though.

I have three versions of the song (different edits). Have always liked it, but found it to be a bit daft and silly too.
My favorite Focus song is "Sylvia".

This song was on an K-TEL album I had as a kid. I think it was called "Fantastic". I remember playing it over and over....

If you like that one, check out their follow up single "Harem Scarem" from the album Hamburger Concerto. They really are astounding musicians.

I picked up that LP at a thrift last year, also a Van Leer solo title, will have to give Harem Scarem a spin, thnks.

aaaah, Focus in 1973, those were the days :)
Being a dutchie and a Jan Akkerman fan I attended to a number of their concerts during that period. In those concerts Hocus Pocus was most of the times their last ''encore"
Great times & fond memories.

I have that LP but don't remember the song. One more to pull from the stacks and give a listen to over the next day or two.

Yeah, I was about 16 when Moving Waves came out...I bought it - plus Curved Air (with Back Street Luv on it) off EBay last year for $3 each - love the Focus album!

Hahaha Nice Find. Soundtrack and video were a bit lacking in sync...but they did a great job - the start-up guitar solo sounded a bit iffy...though Jan Akkerman was going to lose it, but he pulled it together again. Maybe the sound engineer screwed up. They were probably all high as kites anyway...

That is one of the songs that inspired me to play drums! Really cool drum breaks in that tune!

I bought that album new back in the day. I think that was the only good song on the album. IMO.

No "thinking" needed. It was. I've got it too.

You got that right. That song could almost be a Jethro Tull song ... almost.

Ah, yes... takes me back! :D

And if you-all thought that was a hoot, check this out! (only a little yodeling, though)
Bring Me Edelweiss! :D http://youtube.com/watch?v=TLVIICWRbjM

And Dragon, you be right! It could've been a Tull song - if only Ian would've written in a flute part! ;)
