More "get-togethers" maybe

I think we should have "get-togethers" more often....maybe not on that scale as yesterday......maybe some of the members would be willing to host once in awhile....I would be willing.......

Wyandotte is a nice place to visit too. I couldn't do anything major for awhile because we just recently moved here and still have our other house to sell, but anybody is more than welcome to come by and listen to some Altecs, full-rangers, Polks, etc.

Too bad I wasn't a member of this site last August...We (Mrs reel2reel and I) went to Ft. Benning Ga. to pick up Bullseye(our son who is a member also) from Basic Training..(Or Boot Camp as we call it)..along the way we stopped in Knoxville for the night at her uncles house...Her uncle was only about a mile or two from the western ave. and I75 interchange....we really enjoyed our stay there...even though it was for two nites...one goin down.....and one commin back.

If I would have known ya at the time...we couldave stopped in and 'chot the chit' and listened (cranked) some tunes...

Closest metropolis is Jacksonville, 156 miles due south....

I have been trying to get a event in Columbus, Ohio. Unfortunately I don't have any talent in getting something like this going, If I do, then there may be a event soon in Central Ohio. My schedule screwed me up from coming to Detroit, but I would like to meet other AK members at the next event.
