I have a Soundcraftsmen SP4002 Preamp. Can the unit control two amps?.
Do I have to two make any adjustments to the two amps?
It looks like the SP4002 has the inputs and a Mono A/B Switch but I am new to this this type of equipment. I don't have any documentation so I was hoping for some input. In fact, I really don't know what I am doing but I am quick to learn.

Thanks!!!

Yes it can control 2 amps that is what the Line 1 and Line 2 outputs are.

The MONO A+B switch on the front is only used to put the preamp into mono mode. This is NOT a switch to allow MONO outputs to the AMP the DX series has this capability not the SP series. If you want to run your amps in Bridged Mono you will need to get the Stereo Bridging Adapter Model AB-1. This Adapter is used to Bridge 2 Stereo Amps [4 channels] in to 2 channel stereo, thus doubling the output Watts per channel.

Regarding the two amps the only adjustments you would need to make is to the gain controls if your amps have them to match the output volume for the speakers.
