I've spent the afternoon listening to the Marshall Tucker Band, Molly Hatchet, Lynard Skynard, and the Allman Brothers. Wow brought back some great memories. The Maggies are great with the addition of the SubTwo! Finished it off with Neil
Youngs Harvest album. Real great stuff with great guitar. Shame about Duane!!

Jim

Just come on out here and turn on the radio...you can't get away from those bands on the "classic rock" format. I grew up out East and hadn't really heard a lot of the "southern" stuff until I moved out here. I can't remember what they played back east now...Talking Heads? E. Costello? Anyway, glad you're diggin' it. Guess you're close enough to the Mason/Dixon line to straddle the genres...

I'm an east-coaster transplanted to the south and I love southern rock, sounds like you had a great afternoon!
If that kind of thing is your "bag" check out Drive By Truckers, awesome band.
