Best way to run ipod off stereo?

Looking for ideas to run the ipod off my stereo. Currently have it just hooked up to cables in the aux. Works fine but battery is an issue.

Any options?

just get a simple dock. It doesn't need to have speakers, just RCA outputs and a power supply to charge the battery. They're everywhere and cheap.

Glad to see another SD guy BTW. I completely agree its getting crowded, damn shame.

Ipod -> Dock -> Digital Optical Out -> DAC -> input on Marantz

Jump over the cheap DAC in the Pod.
