What about having a forum dedicated to just MP3 players.....

More and more audiophile people are using MP3 players now for listening to music while "mobile".....(mostly IPODS).....if they are set up right using the better sounding encoding they can sound pretty good.......I am not saying they can take the place of vinyl or SACD's, ect....for listening at home but out on the road they sure make things eaiser. Would be interesting to see what kind of accessories are being used........interfaces for the car, truck, boats....ear and headphones..and those that use them at home.....interfacees.........most of the postings on the MP3 forums are by younger people who pretty much have not even seen a vinyl record let alone heard one played on a nice system and don't have a clue what a good audio system sounds like so they have nothing to compare the sound of thier MP3 players to.........most of them focus on quanity rather then quality..........Some of the MP3 players coming out now have bigger Hard drives...up to 160GB now.........alot of room for excellent sounding music files.......just a thought.....:music:

The MP3 Generation is like the Snowboarders Generation.........

The slopes were not the same after they came.....

But it is inevitable..........Just like the snowboarders, they are coming in big numbers.....

There is nothing anyone can do to stop them.....

By the way, New research indicate that Ipods eventually cause permanent hearing loss (damage).............

Ohhhh .....I forgot......

Invest in companies that manufacture sell or do research on hearing aids.......

In a few years, the Ipod generation will be on Epay bidding for the latest hearing aids just like some audiofiles are bidding for vintage Hi Fi now...:)

I must also clarify.....That generation also includes any individual that uses mobile headphones....
