Hi gang,
I have recently got my new NAB Hub adaptors, which are the gray twist style ones, for the Teac A-3300S Deck,
Now do I need to add the spacer sheet behind that when putting them on the reel tables?? Or do they just go on as usual? I even saw where you can remove the metal back of them to use on a 10 1/2 plastic reel. Is this proper information or? A  ? And do they lock the reels pretty tight or what? Thanks for any info on these :)

The lock the reels pretty tight.

Use whatever you need to make the tape pack onto the take up reel in the middle of the space for the tape.

Then use whatever you need to make the correctly packed reel spool off exactly in line with the tape alignment arm and posts.

This way the tape does not need to be adjusted up or down by the alignment devices on the deck and you will get the best results.

I have adjusted the reel table height of my machine to allow use of just the NAB adapter without additional spacing or less spacing. I don't use the one 10.5" plastic reel I have.
