Ever do this? Set the coffee down somewhere in the house, go do something for 10 minutes or so (pull the cover off a receiver for a deoxit treatment in this case), then go back for the coffee but... you look everywhere and can't find it? I eventually find the cup, but not until I've circled the house several times. I think I do this at least once per week. :twak:

I do that with tools in the garage all of the time. Funny thing is that I always remember where I set my beer!

I usually find my coffee about 15 minutes later, right where I left it...in the microwave.

I always know where my wife is in the house.
I can follow her coffee cups like bread crumbs.

My wife got me this one for Christmas (it's really old 70's?) It's a lot brighter than in the picture, and pretty hard to sit down and lose.. you can see it from the other room...

(Been waiting for a chance to show this off)

I love coffee, but mother does not allow it in the house.

I often forget where I put screwdrivers/parts......

She is opposed to anything caffeinated. :tears:.....aaahh....well, I'd have to say her argument has merit....some people drink way too much coffee and stay wired all day.....

There's a reason some people call coffee "liquid brains" -- it certainly helps me function before my brain functions actually kick on in the morning! :D

Seriously, caffeine can be "overdone", you can get addicted, and doing without it can be extremely difficult. However, a cup of 50/50 caffeine and decaffinated won't do any harm. And don't drink any caffeine (coffee, soda, pop, tonic, etc) after 11:00 am to allow plenty of time for it to wear off before bedtime.

Maybe it's 'cuz I'm gettin' old or sumpin' but I can drink a pot of it a day and sleep like a (large, gray-haired, bearded) baby at night!

Experiment -- carefully -- to gauge your tolerance.
