Well, I had to hit the S.S. office yesterday, & there's a computer store right there by it, so I went in to browse a bit. I ended up grabbing a Netgear USB adapter for wireless n, and it's quite a bit better than wireless G. :thmbsp: I get my internet free from the library down the street, and their router is G, so I'm still limited to that speed, but holy crap is it working better. They didn't have a mini-PCI card like I originally wanted, but the USB one has a cord that's long enough to sit the receiver in the window, which probably works out better, as it's definitely higher than 90% of the cars & trucks driving by, so I'm not getting any interference, if they cause any.

I'm holding off until the "N" standard is final. Right now its still draft / pre N.

G for me, use that only for laptop when I need some portability.

I use mostly wired connection and am upgrading my home system. My Gigabit switch and NICs will be here tomorrow, with a 1Tb Raid 1 NAS device in the near future.

I've been using it for about 2 years.
OK so far.
