thanks, guys !

I sure appreciate it. My setton website is completely finished, but it has a "bug" so some of the pictures aren't appearing. once Marek and I get this sorted out it will be up.

HUGE thank's to Marek for hosting the setton site.

I'm actually a Pioneer collector, but I simply couldn't resist an offer for some setton equipment about a week ago, they came in today, and all looks very, very well, I'd say they are mint!! I cleaned all the knobs and front, even disassembled the plastic windows etc etc.. Now they look like haute couture:D

Here's the serials:

AS-3300: 02000277
TUS-600: 01000405

Looks like they didn't made to much of these ones :scratch2:

I bought them from another collector here in the Netherlands for a very friendly price .

You've got mine I think...
Might have a line on another preamp, if I land it I'll let you know....
These are playing very nicely with the Altec 19's and are currently my daily drivers :)

sweet !!!

glad to hear it, my friend !

btw. my BS-5500 is finished with it's echowar treatment, so it should be back soon as i can find a ride for it. i don't want to pay shipping LOL.

oh, and by the way, the RS-220 is not 20wpc, it is 45 wpc. still a lot of power for a BOTL receiver, the biggest BOTL i've ever seen.

i would love to land a matching preamp for my amp, or the TOTL RS-660. :D

PS 5500 Pre-amp S/N 07000505 in house :)
Actually been here awhile but just got my lazy butt to take off the serials...

Pretty much pristine excepting a couple of indicator lamps.

So Henry, how did the refurb on the BS5500 work out?

Question for you folks.

Do any of your units have knobs in which the notch is painted red?

If so, is there a consensus on what the factory did?
