I just bought a pair of walnut Advent Large from this guy, he refinishes the cabinets himself. I saw an ad on craigslist about a refinishing service last week and thought it might be him when he said he refinished them and when I saw all the speakers he had. He does good work. The Advents sound amazing and look very beautiful.

He has tons of other stuff too.. I'm not sure of all the models though. I know he had a few A-25s, walnut New Advent Large, and some other stuff.

I didn't know if that was a good deal or not, but I got a good deal on the Advents, even if they weren't refinished... but they were and were refoamed.

Just pointing out that he has good stuff. I will try to find out what else he has, so maybe someone else can get a good deal too.

Those are gone, bought them and gave them to my dad. They were utility cab New Advents.

They aren't as nice as this stuff though... I kind of want to get the walnut New Advents this guy has and sell the utility New Advents.

I thought the walnut New Advents went for $365 or so (ah, over $400 with the ~$65 shipping). If that's the pair you mean, yeah.. that is a lot. Maybe the description helped? Two pairs of original walnut Large went for $375 for both... ebay is a crazy place!
