Projector Diagnosis Question

We have a couple of projectors here at my work place that I'm supposed to go look at.

We are using these for video & computer display.

One is stated to have a purple tint on half of the display and the other one is stated as
having a green spot in the middle of the screen.

Can these problems be bulb related or does it go deeper than that?

If it goes deeper, then it's projector replacement time.

Took a look at the projectors...

The one that's displaying purple only does so when displaying text.

If the text is black, on the very left hand side of the screen, only
the text will be purple, all other colors are fine... :scratch2:

Someone mentioned that the bulb may just need to be "reregistered"...

Does that mean reseated?
