mint nad 3020a. what's the pwr rating? $200 too much?

I believe it's rated very conservatively at 20 wpc, I have the 3220, a similar model. I wouldn't pay that much for it, unless it was absolutely like new with the box and manual (but that is just me, mine came with the box, no manual though). I'll be selling mine soon, as it is time to upgrade

If memory serves I think thats what I paid for a new 3020 back in 78', anyway it would have to be museum grade to pay that much now. If it was just in very good condition maybe $125 or so, just my 2 cents.

Seriously the NADs were a good sounding receiver in the day, and the designers were bravely trying to stick to discrete-component design in the audio path instead of hopping on the op-amp IC bandwagon like the others. But these units were prone to having reliability problems, and I saw many, many of them come over my service bench with numerous problems in the '80s and '90s.

Fifty is about as high as I would go, and I'd want all the trimmings. IMHO....
